I have a spreadsheet of banking data, so cannot share as example.
I've been using for years and updating the values every month. I have a particular cell where I compare a cell value in one sheet with a cell value in another sheet (TRUE/FALSE) and this is suddenly returning a FALSE, where I know that the two values are the same. Both values are SUM functions of other data. When I expand the number of decimal places of both fields, I notice that there is a 1 at the tenth decimal place in one of the 2 cells being compared. This is unexplained, as I have checked the values underlying the SUM in that cell and there is no 1 at tenth decimal place. Calculation is turned on Formatting (number to 2 dp's) is the same Any ideas as to how to proceed? Tommy ![]() |
