I have a file I have been using for several years without any problems. Today, for the first time, the file fails to load and I get this message - "We found a problem with some content in xxx.xxx. Do you want for us to try to recover as much as we can?
I click yes and the following message appears - this encrypted file cannot be opened or repaired by Microsoft Excel because it is corrupt. I browsed to the file and attempted to "open and repair" the file with the same corrupt message. Strangely the file opens fine on my laptop but not on the desktop. I deleted Office on the desktop and reinstalled with the same corrupt file message. The files are identical on the desktop and laptop. Hmmmmm, thoughts? |
