MS Accounts
Hi. I had to re-install Windows 11. This time without having an account. I then re-installed Office 2021 from the MS website. When opening an xlsx file, it asks me to Sign in to activate the account. Does this mean I have to have an MS account now on my PC and log in with it?
I originally had an MS account years ago with a different email account and wanted to change the email address. I think I might have several accounts with different email addresses. I don’t want to use a MS account on the PC itself to log into windows. What I want to know, is it safe to go ahead and click continue to activate. This is a downloadable version of office not a 365 subscription. Is this seperate to a windows login account. Last edited by Pablo2000; 03-08-2024 at 04:42 AM. |

Posting unredacted screenshots of your Microsoft accounts clearly showing your e-mail address is very unwise. |
