I have a spreadsheet with numerous formulas all have been working properly till two days ago. One cell with a formula just stopped displaying the results out a the blue! I tried re-entering the formula, checked to make sure the text color didn't match the background color, rechecked the formatting as currency, verified no conditional format, verified I hadn't hidden the cell some how but found nothing different. The c ell will show text when typed just no formula in that cell or any other cells on the page! The remaining cells that do have formula's are still showing results, I just can't type any formulas in any other cells that didn't already have data.



Anyone have a idea what has happened here?

I had already checked to make sure nothing had changed regarding showing or not showing formula's.

However by checking "show formulas" you get the formulas showing in cells rather than the result your looking for.

Anyway for what ever reason just as that particular cell resulting formula disappeared later the same day after looking for help as to what was going on (hours later) I went back to my computer and low an behold that cell once again was showing the result expected out a the blue.

Go figure ?
