Pulling data from a spreadsheet to populate a color coded excel calendar
Hello Excel Pros! I need some help! I have an existing spreadsheet with a lot of information in it that I would like to be able to populate in a weekday calendar with color coding. The information in the sheet is about classes taught/held. Each class has a start time, end time, class code, and there are multiple entries, each for individual students. I would like to take this data and populate it visually in an Excel calendar. For example, if 7 people attended a class from 12:00pm-1:00pm I would like it to read the name of the class, # of people attended, teacher name, and the class code in the color coded "block" of time @ the calendar. If this is done correctly, I should be able to see what classes were held during the week in the calendar visually I have an existing calendar with all the classes that are supposed to be held during the week. I would like to use the data described above to build a calendar with all the classes that were actually held to make the comparison. I also would like to be able to see all the classes that the teachers teach individually, and all of the classes that a student attended individually. I am happy to answer any questions about what I am looking for if there is any confusion. If you can make this happen, you will make my day!!! Thank you so much Excel community!!! Look forward to hearing your expert advice! Thanks, Joel. |
