Hi Everyone,
I need a two-way solution either in Goal Seek or in What if Analysis that WILL NOT calculate the total sum of revenue in the cell E15 if the dates in the cell B2 and B3 are between 01-Sep-2023 and 31-Dec-2023 for example. Also, if you can provide the formula in cell E15 that will do this will be great. Thank you in advance. |

Where are the dates referencing the values that appear in Column E. How about mocking up a solution so we understand exactly what you are looking for.

Yeah, I tried to suss out what you were asking for. I think your spreadsheet is all typed in values except for the sum at the bottom, yes?
You give the starting and ending dates, but no date to compare to those. Are you asking for it to not total if the variable TODAY is not between those dates? Or if a reference date typed elsewhere doesn't fall between those dates? What occurred to me to be a more likely scenario is that you're looking to populate the table with only those expenses incurred between those dates, if you're pulling them from a larger table of expenses by date. But if so, we'll need to see more of your work. |
