Hi guys. I new to excel and need some help please. ok . In A1 to A50 and B1 to B50 i have blank cells. I will enter data to A1 an B1. I want to return a value into C1 based on the data in A1 and B1. so if A1 is greater than B1, Then C1 should = J. If B1 is greater than A1, Then C1 = G. Else C1 = blank. Thanks for ur help. jim

=IF(A1>B1,"J",IF(B1>A1,"G","")

C1 will appear to be empty only if A1=B1.
