Question Pivot Chart, Horizontal Axis Formatting

In a pivot chart, I am using two values on the horizontal axis (axis categories). The Month/Year is sorted by Class Count (ascending), but when I expand both axis categories (to show both the Class Session and Month/Year) then the formatting of the Month/Year changes to horizontal and will not fit in the space allotted. I have not been able to figure out how to have both the Class Session and Month/Year to rotate 270 degrees. Only the first of the two values will rotate. The other will be horizontal.

How do I show both values on the horizontal axis and get both to format rotated 270 degrees?

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Hi,

You can follow these steps:

-Select the pivot chart.
-Right-click on the horizontal axis (axis categories) and choose "Format Axis" from the context menu.
-In the Format Axis pane, under the "Axis Options" tab, find the "Text Options" section.
-Expand the "Text Options" section and click on the "Text Fill & Outline" dropdown arrow.
-Choose the desired text fill color for the axis labels.
-Click on the "Text Effects" button (represented by a capital 'A' icon) next to the "Text Fill & Outline" dropdown.
-In the "Text Effects" dialog box, go to the "Text Box" tab.
-Under the "Text Box Options" section, find the "Text Direction" dropdown and choose "Rotate all text 270°".
-Click "Close" to apply the changes and close the dialog box.
-Close the Format Axis pane.

Best Regards.

Thanks. but unless I'm missing something that is what I have done. When having two axis categories, only the first (top) rotates.
