Hi Everyone

I have a very weird issue with Excel and I couldn't find any solution online so far.

It only shows the grid when I'm selecting/marking it as you can see in the video.
Any ideas?

All the grid options etc. under View are activated.

What you are seeing is normal. The grid is there before you select a range and after selection.

What is the problem you perceive exists ?

Okay now I’m very confused… I have worked with Excel for over 10years and I’ve never seen that on any version/computer before? Is this a very recent update/change?

I was always able to see all the grey back lines of each and every cell/column… never have I seen an all white screen before (and that the lines only activated/showed when I selected a range with my mouse.

ohhh wait, what the hell! Just rechecked the video doesn’t show it… it looks normal in the video… that’s not what I saw on screen… how the f.?
I will try to record it with mobile or something, give me a moment.

EDIT: this is super weird! When I check the video on my mobile, I DO see the lines, it looks normal. I just opened the video again on my desktop PC and here I can see the bug.... A1 until W26 (ish) ... the whole area just appears whtie for me... until I select it with the mouse. Can you check the video on a desktop to see what I mean?

I also just made another one with my mobile, trying to upload that one now as well.

I've completed some research on the internet but unable to secure a solution. What happens if you uninstall Excel / Reboot / Then reinstall Excel ?

I found the issue... I feel stupid, I had my monitor on higher contrast, instead of 50/100 it was on 65/100 (to help with visibility in my game). If I put it down like 3-4 points it already becomes visible again. Never thought that this would make such a difference :/
