Hi
I was using MS Excel 2019, and then oddly it became corrupt. Refer attached photo.
I tried to load other sheets and other xls files, but same corruption every time.
I tried rebooting - no luck.
I tried repairing MS Office 2019 through Win 11 Control Panel - no luck.
Any other option, apart from uninstalling and reinstalling?

Don't worry. I did a full reinstall, and Excel now works.

That doesn't look like corruption to me. You just resized the formula bar.

If I did, it was by accident. And it then did the same for every tab, and XLS, and exiting of Excel, rebooting, repairing - everything. I tried dozens of things to try to correct and none worked... except full reinstallation of Office.
And if it happened again, I wouldn't know the cause, because all I did was copy a cell intending to paste it somewhere else, and then boom it happened.

All you need to do is move the mouse over the bottom edge of the formula bar until it turns into a two headed arrow, then click and drag it back up.

Not sure what you mean, but I have documented your suggestion

and if it happens again, I will do it. Better that than reinstall Office.

I mean that if you move the mouse pointer anywhere around the bottom of the formula bar (as highlighted), it should change from the usual pointer to a double-headed arrow. When it does, you can click and drag up/down to resize the formula bar.
