Default Any recommendations for an "Excel function a week" type of list or learning module?

I'd love to be able to not only help get others started on a continuous learning pattern, but learn some things myself that I've not had the opportunity to pick up. Especially the newer functions in Excel 365.

Is there any online resource that kind of breaks down one function at a time, from the seemingly simple (SUM and SUBTOTAL with all their variations - I personally like SUBTOTAL(109,) because coworkers have a tendency to hide rows) to things like LET and FILTER which are newer?

While being a good idea, there are tons of sites with these examples on the Net.
If you type e.g. "Subtotal function Excel" in a search engine you will find lots of info.
This being said, have a look at the AGGREGATE function instead of SUBTOTAL

Thanks, that's my conundrum. There are a lot of sites and YouTube channels. I'm just trying to find one that is good and kind of sequential, like one small lesson per week, that anyone recommends. I thought I saw one in YT while searching for something a few weeks ago and now of course it hasn't made itself known to me again.

I'm at the stage where typically I'm looking for help on one specific function or skill at a time, where I kind of know what I'm trying to do but need context. I was looking for something for someone who only knows how to do the very basics in Excel, and probably won't bite off a whole course.

Will do! I'm aware of it but probably just stuck relying on what comes readily to mind. Thanks!

This is quite difficult as no one knows what your real level is, or what you need ( if you are not e.g. in the financial world, why give you tips for financial functions? )

I would recommend dabbling around in XL forums and have a look around. There are very good ones, not affiliated to MS like excelforum or MrExcel ( they have their pros and contras but are great sources for XL knowledge). Try to solve some simple problems and look at answers from people over there

I guess I agree. Some of the better YouTube courses I've found have smaller chapters within them. I'm looking for some bite-size lessons that I can encourage people who really could use the help expanding their skills, but who haven't put in the time.

Kevin Stratvert's Excel Formulas and Functions has some basics split into chapters (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8xhrUa3KH4). I may see whether they'll be filling to scroll through the chapters for starters.
