I am using Office 365 Excel and the copy or fill series does not seem to work as it used to. Previously, if I dragged a cell containing a number, downwards, a little popup box (Autofill Options) would appear giving me the option to copy the value or fill the series. This does not appear, instead there is a box saying Quick Analysis - see attachment.
It just copies the same value to the cells below. If I press CTRL whilst dragging, it does fill the series with incrementing values as determined by the Fill Series value specified in the Menu bar. On the web, it says ensure that the File/Options/Advanced enable Fill Handle and Cell Drag and Drop is checked. It is. Has there been a change to how this works, or is there some other option that I have inadvertently changed? |

Ok, solved this myself.
Must have unchecked the "Show Paste Options button" in the Advanced Options, Cut, Copy and Paste section. Now back working again. |

You can Right Click and Drag to see the Autofill options too.

Guessed,
Thanks for that, just tried and it does work, but probably don't need that now, as I have rechecked the "Show Paste Options button". |
