Dgatto is on a distinguished road
Default Graphics gone on initial file open - scroll then presto, there back.

I have a workbook that open on a sheet with several graphs, graphics, and macro buttons. (Dashboard) Have had it running for years, several of which on my current hardware. Recently, when I open the file, it shows nothing or little red X placeholders where the graphs are UNTIL I scroll or otherwise cause the screen to update. Same behavior when I open in safe mode or with macros disabled. Probably a graphics card or Windows issue but I have been unable to find help anywhere, and nothing has changed on my system recently. It is also doing the same on a different computer. It loads and looks normal after I scroll the screen even just one row the first time. I have archives of older files and they do the same thing now where they didn't before.

Has anyone had a similar issue?
  • ExcelŽ for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2210 Build 16.0.15726.20070) 64-bit
  • Office 365
  • Windows 11 Home version. Main computer is a game worthy I7 with 32G of ram and Nvidia graphics card. Same behavior on a desktop and a laptop.

could be a screen updating issue on load. For fast loading.
check all your setup settings, do you have any external links to other files

Did you create the workbook using XL 2021 as your profile seems to indicate?
If so did the problems start when using O365 ?
You might find some clues in the following although it applies to XL for Mac Redirecting
