How to protect a cell from editing
Did this years ago and am struggling getting it to work. I have gone to review and protect sheet. All cells are locked and hidden by default. I have un checked certain cells.
The problem is that previously i could not click the mouse in cells that were protected. Now I can click inside them but not change them. Is this a new feature that you can click into a protected cell. SOLVED: remove tick from select locked cells and leave a tick on select un-locked cells. Confused as to why you would have the second one. Un-ticking both would deny access to any cell. |
