Text goes blurry and dark briefly when scrolling
Just upgraded to Office 365 from Office 2007 (on Windows 10).
When I open an Excel document and scroll a page (either by mouse wheel or scroll bar), all text goes briefly dark and blurred until it has stopped scrolling. This never happened on Office 2007. No settings have changed and the only thing different is the usage of Excel 365 instead of Excel 2007. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this problem? I have since noticed that this only seems to happen on my main monitor - 5:4 or 1280 x 1024. On my new monitor, 2560 x 1440 at 125% this issue is not noticeable. I'm wondering if Excel in Office 365 does not handle 5:4 screens properly. p.s. this happens even if the second monitor is not connected, so not a problem with multiple monitors. Re-installed Excel from Office 2007 and the problem is not there. So, I can only assume that Office 365 Excel does not handle 1280 x 1024 monitors properly. Probably happened at some point when Microsoft was fixing the problem of blurry text on monitors of a higher resolution - which is why I had to migrate to Office 365 in the first place, to handle my new 1440 monitor which has blurry text in Office 2007. Think I've solved this. It's to do with animations in Excel 365. If I turn off all unnecessary animations in the control panel, the problem goes away. Was not an issue in Excel 2007.
