Just updated to Office 365 from Office 2007 and the movement between cells appears different in Excel 365. Previously (Office 2007) if I click on a cell the border around the cell clicked on would be highlighted. Now, I can visibly see the cell border moving from the previous cell to the new one (there is a trace of the border from the old cell to the new cell). Takes only a fraction of a second, but I find it very annoying.
Is this a new "feature" of Excel, or can it be turned off. Can't find any info on this anywhere on the net. Thanks |

Solved this one. It's to do with animations in excel. If I turn off all unnecessary animations from the windows control panel the problem goes away and cell movement operates like 2007. This also fixes my blurry text problem when scolling.
