Recent Office Update causing issues opening older Excel worksheet
My Excel was recently updated and now when i try to open a worksheet in the Excel 97 format which contains MACRO's it will not open. It was not saved as a macro enabled worksheet.
What do I need to change in the new properties in order to open this worksheet? I last was able to last get into it on 11/18 and in the time, my Excel has been updated. |

I have gone through most of those security settings and nothing seems to work unless I am clicking the wrong ones.

Maybe security software is blocking you opening documents it now considers insecure?

Have a look at Use Excel with earlier versions of Excel

Hi to all.
Start your file in Safe Mode (hold down the Ctrl key while launching it); this will not activate the macro it contains. |
