I have a very long document that includes only text I wrote in Word. I moved it from Word to Excel.
And I would like to run on it a macro written in VBA Word. Are there any changes I need to make to the macro? every macro that work in Word will work also in Excel?

Doe the text end up in one cell in Excel? Or several cells?

this one of Macro Mr. Guessed has done greate work for me. but my computer fell to bring large table from excel to Word.

None of the code in msg#6 of that thread will work in Excel.
Best attach an Excel file with a sample of the text moved to it from Word, then explain what you want the macro to do…
Otherwise, it may be an idea to continue in that thread as Guessed will probably have a better idea of what you need.

Thanks anyway, just one more question before I give up on the matter. Word and Axcel only work with one cpu core?
Do you think the reason I am unable to move a table with 24,000 rows from axcel to Word is an old cpu, or is it beyond the capabilities of the software itself. (My computer is 5-6 years old).

24000 rows of data doesn't sound too much to me. 6 years old computer should easily be able to handle it.
