Default Unexpected position of Multi level Cat labels

File attached.
2 same graphs with different label formats.
In neither cases labels are not positioned as expected,


cannot find problem,
please help

The column 'N' is two columns (B & C) merged. Can't see why they need to be merged. Could this be your problem? Try unmerging them.

Agree, but same result if unmerged. I merged the two cells as the length of the label is to small to fit on 1 devision on the X-axis

No need to merge cells because "the length of the label is to small to fit on 1 devision". All you need do is drag the single column width wider to fit the text.


More to the point is that I can't reproduce what you are seeing so sorry I can't help.

Thanks wiganken. If you're not able to reproduce my graphs, my Excel file may be corrupt. Is oit possible to make a new copy and forward this to me?

Try creating the spreadsheet from scratch again. My Office 2019 will not be compatible with your Office 2007 so no point me sending you anything.


I'll end my subscription to this thread now. As I said - Good luck. Someone else may help.
