Default How do I embolden the green search outline

When I search in Excel for certain dates, 5/30/21 in the example, Excel highlights the cell in a thin green outline. The dates are sometimes difficult to see right away. Is there a way to embolden the highlighting green outline and perhaps change its color?

Not that i know of, but you can click find all and in the bottom section press ctrl+a which will select all of the items you are loocking to find and highlight the cell

Although not great if you only have 1 item to find

Another option would be Conditional formatting, highlight the text, then click on Condictional formatting > Highlight cells Rules > Equal to > (if you copy the search critieria first it will auot populate)

Jiust a couple of ideas

I'd go with Purfleet's Conditional Formatting example. You could even designate a cell (for example A1) that would contain your "looked for" date. Then you can make the Cond Form rule compare with $A$1. Then enter a date in A1 and press Enter.
