cells with triangles
Why am I getting small tryangles in cells. I have 2 cells set as curancy and a third cell set as curancy =SUM(K9-K7). There should not be a problem.

If you click on the cell with triangles do you see a small Diamond shape appear? If so then click on this diamond shape and a context menu should appear where you can get help to find out what is causing the triangle.

Okay. Thanks. Calculated cells should be protected.

BTW in your example the SUM function is not necessary

The problem is still here. I have green triangles with "The formula in this cell differs from the formulas in this area of the spradsheet.".
There is no problems with these cells. BTW in your example the SUM function is not necessar! How else would I do this? in the attached sheet, Cells E11, G9 and H11 do not differ from cells above or below them. |

I think the triangles come from when the sheet was created, it might be that formulas were being tested in different cells.
If you drag now the formula from the one above it then disappears |

Yes it does dissapear which fond strange. The info is identical. I didn't test the formulas in difrent cells I simply set the cell type and entered the formular. Each day I copy the row above and paste. Then make the changes.
I have mass copied the data all the way down and then deleted them. Hopefully that should clear the problem. |
