old pc running windows 10 home with ms office XP, (pc not attached to wifi, just used as a word processor), I have 2 columns on a spreadsheet, one lbs, the other kgs,
when I put the weight in column E in lbs, I want column H to automatically convert to kgs, I am using =convert(E3,"lbm","kg") in cell H3, I am getting the error message #NAME?, can anybody please advise me on where I am going wrong, all help and advice appreciated

According to this page
The CONVERT function is new to Excel 2007, so is not available in earlier versions of Excel.
