How to separate wrapped numbers copied from a PDF file
Hi. Related to my previous post on table headings as numbers, I downloaded the official table source from the issuing agency website in PDF format. I used the Adobe online in converting the pdf to Excel but got a horrible result. The values in rows 2 to 30 were wrapped in a single row. My option is to manually copy the amounts into an Excel table but typo errors are highly possible. Kindly suggest a quicker way on how I will separate the wrapped amounts. Thank you. Update: I found the solution from: How to Split Multiple Lines in a Cell into a Separate Cells / Columns After splitting the wrapped values through the Text to Columns tool, I then applied the copy>paste special>transpose. |
