Find worksheet with a word within its name ?
Hi,
Excel 2010 If I do a find clicking in the top left corner of the first sheet then ctrl F and options advanced and select within workbook, enter *word* (word being the word I need to find) it says nothing found, yet I know I have a sheet on this subject with that word and would have used the word in the sheet. Eventually I find the sheet, the word I was using is in the sheet tab title but not on the sheet. I need to find sheets and not just content within the sheet, this is happening often. How can I get ctrl F to also find the sheet name using *word* ? I am amazed Msoft dont allow a worksheet name find in this essential process. Cheers DBenz |

Clicking on the top left hand corner selects everything in that sheet and therefore limits the search to that sheet. Have you tried not clicking on the top left hand corner so that the 'Find' command will search all sheets?
