How to lengthen my table? It stops at 16 rows, but I want 36 rows.

I choose "insert row", it worked, but numberings are gone like this:

Use defined Tables. When a whole column of defined Table contains same formula (or same format or Data Validation rule), whenever a new row is added, the same formula (or format or rule) is added into new fields of this column.

I thought this was covered in a previous post?

Put this in cell a2 - =ROWS($A$2:A2)&"." and drag down

Its and expanding range that counts rows, =ROWS($A$2:A2) is one, then the next one is =ROWS($A$2:A3)&"."

Insert rows and then redrag and it will count down
