Excel will not let customize the Ribbon
OK so, I put the mouse on the ribbon, right click and I see 2 options (I've watched videos were some people have a lot more than 2)
Anyway I see: 1. Customize Ribbon 2. Collapse Ribbon I click Customize Ribbon and nothing happens. I also tried going to File, Options but that also does NOTHING. I am trying to add the developer option so I can make a field "checkable" I feel like this should be a VERY easy thing to do in Excel. ANY help is appreciated. Please speak in layman's terms. =) Thank you |

I have Excel 2007. On my version, it is located in OPTIONS (The Excel Button upper left hand corner), in the POPULAR section.
In 2019 it may be located in a different section than POPULAR ... but it is definitely in the OPTIONS SETTINGS. It should be called "Show Developer Tab in the Menu Ribbon." or similar |
