Accessing word objects
Hi.
So I am working on a spreadsheet on which i have added an word document as an object (checking the boxes for showing as icon and link to the document). The problem is, if I send this excel file to someone, they are not able to access the attached word docs, as they refer to a location on my computer. Is there any way I can insert them in the excel, making them accessible for other persons? Thank you, |

You have to embed the whole file, one way:
Insert tab of the ribbon, Text section/dropdown, Object, Create from file tab, (do NOT tick Link to file checkbox) tick the Display as icon if you want, Browse…, navigate to your file, Insert, OK |
