Hi
I have data in excel with multiple rows and coulmns. I need to sort these data in different configuration. But I am afraid when I sort a coulmn, the correspondence data respect to each row will be sorted or not ? Do I Need to Lock Each rows seperately Rgds Kiri |

Unless you specifically select a column first, then tell Excel you want to sort only that column, it should sort everything together and not loose your respective row data.
Make a copy of the workbook and test it first to understand the results.... |

When you select a single cell in table, and then sort, the entire table (a region bordered with fully empty column and row, where selected cell is included) is sorted;
When you select any range of cells, and then sort, the selected range is sorted. |
