Default True/False Error

I am using a simple if formula, but the results being returned in two cases are incorrect as far as I can tell.

I am attaching screenshots of the two cells returning the error and one of the same formula returning the correct result.

WTF?

Is there something about the values that I can't see? I tried changing the cell format to general or number, but the contents still displayed values that look equal to me and still displayed the False indicator "???".

If you had posted a sheet instead of pictures...
I'd have formatted col A & C as number and extended the decimals out to 15 places to see if the contents of the cells differ even though what's displayed doesn't.

Welcome to the forum!

I am not sure if this forum requires some posts before allowing hyperlinks and attached files. Most require 5 or 10.

As NoSparks said, it is likely a rounding issue. General format should have shown that though. You can add Round() to the cells to force rounding or use it in your formula for each side of the equality operator, =. e.g. Round A1. =ROUND(A1,2)

While rounding to 2 places is fine, the currency or number format should be done as well since 1.00 would show as 1 if general format.
