Where Does Excel 2000 Store Backup Files?
Or does it?? After working with it for 15 years, I cannot find any backup files for Excel 2000 anywhere on my hard drive. Last edited by skeezix; 03-11-2019 at 07:03 AM. |

I understand from an internet search that Excel 2000 backup files have the extension .XLK
Try searching for .xlk extension files. |

I searched and found nothing. Are you sure that you gave me the correct file extension?

According to the Microsoft website ... yes.
Perhaps you haven't configured your copy to create backups ? Look in the Settings ? |

Sorry for the late reply
I looked in my Excel 2000 menus but didn't find anything labeled "Settings". I found a Settings box in some of the Options tabs, but nothing about making backups. I'll have to figger some way to automatically create a backup for my Excel files. And Thank You for your replies! |
