If I correctly understand your dilemma, no matter how you try, everything prints to file instead of printing to paper ?
If so ... and this is me grasping at straws ... have you set the printer options DEFAULT PRINTER to the printer you are wanting ? If you've already done that (and in light of already re-loading the software) I'm not certain of the solution. You could always contact Microsoft directly and see what they advise.
