Hi and welcome
please post sample sheets ( click Go advanced - Manage attachments).
Pictures are nice to look at but quite useless to work with.
Thank you

Try this formula:

=INDEX(SMITDAILY!$A$3:$G$24,ROWS($D$18:$D18), MATCH($D$4,SMITDAILY!$A$2:$G$2,0))

copied down.

To remove the 0's you can format the result cells as Custom with Type: 0;-0;;@

I'm thinking that I'm asking the question in the wrong way, and also am bad at making example workbooks so i'm attaching along a copy of the original.

What I'm trying to do is populate Planner D18 through D40 named "Prioritized Task List" with a list from SMITDAILY contingent on the day. So if today is Sunday I want the vertical list from SMITDAILY A3 through A23 to populate in Planner D18 through D38, however if today is Thursday, I want the vertical list from SMITDAILY E3 through E24 to populate in Planner D18 through D39. I have gotten the to populate with the given formula, however, I have to manually change the day. I would like those cells to recognize which day of the week it is and input the correct text from SMITDAILY to Planner.
