Default Exact Match

I need to do an exact math. See attached worksheet. My spreadsheet will have over 800 contacts. I want to be able to exactly match both columns. I tried using the exact match under Text but it did not see to work.

What is "exact match" for you?

a) In some column TRUE is displayed, when on same row in column A the entry has matching value in column B;
b) In some column TRUE is displayed, when on same row in column B the entry has matching value in column A;
c) Point a is applied to some column, and point b is applied applied to some another column;
d) In column A the entry is formatted differently, when it has matching value in column B;
e) In column B the entry is formatted differently, when it has matching value in column A;
f) Both points a and b are applied;
g) When on same row in column A the entry has matching value in column B, in some column the row number (or some other row indicator) where maching value was found is displayed;
... the list may go on and on!

Hi

Exact match is it finds the exact id number.

68675757AAY in column A
68675757AAY in Column B it is True

for the ones that are not an exact match it is false.

Can you do an exact match on an email address?

There are several ways to compare 2 columns, and which one to use greatly depends on what you want to get (what is returned).

From your last post I got a vague impression, VLOOKUP() is what will do for you. Look in attached workbook.
