CSV Import in Excel
Dear community,
following problem: I have an csv file which is an exported file with network inventory. If I open this csv file in Excel it is not correctly formated. Some information which belongs to the description should be in one cell. But Excel makes a couple of lines out of it. I am using the feature Data -> text to columns If I open the same file in open Office or Libre office it is correctly formated. The whole text which belongs to description is in one cell. I attached a picture which should make it more clearly what I mean. Is that a formating issue in Excel? Best regards DANIEL |

To create multi line text in a cell in Excel, you would use Alt+Enter to go to the next line which gives a chr(10) within the text
CRLF is chr(13) chr(10) Have you tried removing the CR while in Notepad++ ? I would have tried but your picture doesn't give anything like what you show when loaded into Notepad++ |
