- User A prepares a spreadsheet that includes some small graphics/icons; user A uploads the spreadsheet to SharePoint.
- User B (and many others, but let's keep it simple <g>) opens spreadsheet from SharePoint and sees all graphics.
- User A checks out/opens spreadsheet from SharePoint for editing … and sees that half the graphics are no longer displayed.
Not a one-off glitch, either: user A has been able to demonstrate this behaviour to me several times. I wondered whether it might be some obscure problem with access to linked/referenced graphics, then discovered that (as far as either of us knows) Excel doesn't have an option for linked graphics. [so if it does, he hasn't used it …]
Any tips on how to get farther diagnosing this problem will be gratefully received!
