Default Bugs in Office 2019

I have an issue with excel. Previous versions of Office have had all excel spread sheets contained in an MDI (Multiple Document Interface). Office moves away from that so that each spread sheet opens in itís own space. N SDI (Single Document Interface). However, Microsoft have a tendency to cut corners and copy and paste code from previous versions of Office and Windows. This is an MDI posing as an SDI interface. Quite often the spread sheet prevents editing and clicking on the RED X does not close it down. There is a solution to this.

If you have more than one spread sheet open click on another one. This causes a Loose focus. Click back and you get a Gain focus and everything works again. Clicking on another application like word document does not do this.

Are their any patches service packs.

P.S. I am not the only one who has noticed this.
