RANDBETWEEN question
I am trying to generate a column of random numbers between the values in the first and second column, using RANDBETWEEN(F3,G3) in column H (the third column). The result is not what I expect, all 1s. How can I get a random number between the first two numbers?

Very interesting. Why the 10000 though. Does it have to be a whole number?

From Excel's help on RANDBETWEEN:
This article describes the formula syntax and usage of the RANDBETWEEN function in Microsoft Excel. Description Returns a random integer number between the numbers you specify. A new random integer number is returned every time the worksheet is calculated. |
