pivot table subtotal questions
Pivot table is-
Column Labels AA BB CC DD EE Grand Total Sum of Field B 11 26 30 39 48 154 How do I get sub total in column after CC that shows Subtotal ( AA+BB+CC)? Need help Source data in Excel Field A Field B AA 1 AA 1 AA 1 AA 2 AA 3 BB 4 BB 5 BB 6 BB 7 CC 8 CC 9 CC 10 DD 11 DD 12 DD 13 EE 14 EE 15 EE 16 EE 17 Last edited by sarana; 01-24-2019 at 05:56 AM. Hi and welcome
please post a sample sheet ( no pics please) You can try the "Group" option in the PT menu after selecting the row fields you want (see Grouping Text Items at https://www.contextures.com/xlPivot07.html)

You have total for whole pivot table at bottom - do you?
Add filter by label column. Set filter to display label AA, BB and CC (or whatever else). Overall Total is Total for those 3 labels.

As you can't have same field for filter and for group, I had to add a copy of Field1.
