I found in a google search that if you hover your pointer over the lines between the numbers until you see a double line, then you can pull down and see a hidden row. Only one row at a time though. I would have hundreds if I did it that way.

I don't know what you mean buy checking the state of freeze panes. How do I do that?

The numbers down the left side are blue. I don't know why or how?
