![]() Hi, I am using MS Excel 2007. I would like to know whether we can do the following: If I write 2 in Cell A1, The Cells A2 & B2 to be automatically colored in red (as in the attached image file. If I increase the number in Cell A1 the A2 & B2.......etc. should be colored according to number written in the Cell A1. Thanks. |

Thanks. It doesn't change the cells color when I change the value in A1. Say, If I write 15 in Cell A1, it doesn't fill the below 15 cells with color. In the same way if I write 5 in Cell A1, it doesn't remove the color from extra 4 Cells.
Please make it clear. Thanks. |

Not sure why the first one didn't function as expected (posting issue?).
Here's a second attempt. In case there's a problem here as well, then you may need to build it manually. 1. Select the entire second row of your sheet. 2. Got to "Conditional Formatting", and set "Formula is: Code:
