Attendance table Text Value Convert to Number
Hi
I have a table that supervisors enter staff data into each day, currently I have two sheets and would like to amalgamate them to a singe sheet. My issue is that two categories are both numeric entries hourly, but I need to put them into separate categories, my plan was to use the following for Eng Days use E1, E2, E3 etc to represent the number of hours used. Is it possible to extract the 2nd character and treat it as a number in a total column? Hope this makes sense. Thanks Nick |

=MID(A2,2,10)+0 or if it is always 1 digit, then.. =RIGHT(A2)+0 where A2 contains the original stirng like E2... |
