Setting up a lending system
Hi all,
I'm looking at setting up a small lending system in order to keep a live log of who is taking out access cards, and how long they are holding them for. As I'm only really looking at one table, I understand that Excel is the better software for this, however I'm quite keen to have the information displayed so that outstanding borrowers are featured predominantly. Imagine that record #19 hasn't returned theirs, but the most recent record is #102 and therefore #19 has disappeared from view. I'm more than happy to do the leg work myself, but I'm just looking for a few pointers to know where to begin. What kind of formulas I should be using etc etc. Cheers, RN. |

.
One method would use the built-in FILTER on the DATA tab. You could automate the process by creating a macro that would filter only those rows where the "return date" is empty. You would activate / deactivate the macro with a command button. |
