Error BArs in Excel 2007

I am trying to put custom error bars into Excel 2007. But there doesnt seem to be an option to have two different points on the graph, give two different error bars.
Whenever I click on one point on the graph the other is automatically selected. Is there any way to turn this automatic pairing off?

I don't have 2007 to test but in most versions you click once to select the series, then wait a second and click again to select an individual point.
