Default Macro Button

I have created a macro for a worksheet and I want that macro to be available to others in the company that I send it to. Right now the macro seeams to be embedded in MY personal.xls file so if others do not have this same personal.xls file on their machine they are unable to run the macro.

You need to create a module in the workbook and paste your code there.

Default Marcos

I found how to do what I wanted. I did not catch it the first time but when creating the macro there is an option that allows you to save the macro in one of three places: Personal file, current workbook, or new workbook. It apparently was defaulting to personal.xls so I recreated it saving it in the current workbook. Thanks, B2W
