Default Please help. I want to change the text of a cell when another is selected


I am looking for HELP For Excel:
I want to be able to click on a cell for example M10, and have the contents of Cell G7 change. If I click another cell for example M14, the contents of Cell G7 will change again. If neither cell is selected I want the text in Cell G7 to be of default text.

I am awful at VB.

I attempted to create a VB script but the error code response was:
"What are you trying to do you big dummy? Go online and ask someone who is smarter than you"

Any help is always appreciated!

Do you consider use of the Enter key or Tab key getting you into M10 or M14 the same as clicking M10 or M14 to select them ?

NoSparks I prefer mouse click by selection. I have considered a macro button but I need the macro behind it

Sorry, limiting the firing of a macro to the cell being selected by mouse click only is beyond me.

Mind if I ask the goal for this?
It doesn't seem logical to me for the value of G7 to change from its default value for just the time M10 or M14 is selected (with no concern as to their values), then go back to its default.
What are you trying to accomplish?

The goal is to be able to practice learning Spanish. I want to switch from present tense verbs to past tense; and then present to future tense.

I am trying to get better at learning the different verb translations. It may be easier if I create all 3 different tenses and by assigning an input (say mouse click or as you suggest tab) to hide certain rows/columns? I am old school in the regards to learning. I feel it is better to write and make notes rather than just read and try and remember.
