One cell was formatted as text

I tried formatting one cell as text. It still displayed the result and not the formula.

Okay, if I typed a formula in a cell and then changed the format to text afterwards, the result is displayed. However, if I change the format to text before I typed the formula in, the formula is displayed. I would think it should work the same either way, but at least I know a way to do this now. Thanks.
