Formula Copy Row 2 Row But Next Column In Formula From Another Tab
I have a formula in a spreadsheet that references a cell from another tab. When I copy that formula to the next row of my spreadsheet, I want the new formula to reference the value from the cell in the next column of the spreadsheet in that other tab, not from the cell in the next row of the spreadsheet in that other tab. Can I do that and how? |

Let's say you have your data in Sheet1!B8:I8 then try the following formula in the other tab:
=INDEX(Sheet1!$B$8:$I$8,,ROWS($1:1)) Copy down six rows. |

Ok, we are close. I have a simple formula: '2018'!N3. When I copy it to the cell in the next row, I want it to read '2018'!O3. But instead, it reads '2018'!N4. Now, by using the $ before the 3 as in '2018'!N$3, when I copy to the next row it reads '2018'!N$3. The $ keeps the 3 from changing to 4, but how to I get the N to change to O?
