Worksheet has first column time, second is gas boiler temperature, third is gas flame Indicator on or off

00:00:21 47 ON
00:00:23 48 ON
00:00:27 49 ON
00:00:45 50 Off

00:00:49 48 Off
00:00:52 47 Off
00:01:02 47 ON
00:01:05 48 ON

using scatter with line, I have X as time and Y as temp, I need to also have on X the On or Off as a coloured area, or somehow show on and off zones.
On and Off as cell values dont get recognised in a graph, needs to be numerical I think.
How do I do this ON and OFF thing ? On as green and off as blue areas for example
