picture background removal

I have to use an older version of Excel because the current version does not have the little arrow that allows one to remover the solid background from a pasted photograph.

Eventually I'll have to get a new computer that has Windows 10 instead of Windows 7 and my old version of Excel won't run on Windows 10.

Anybody know of any solutions to this?
