Default Backend spreadsheet linked to read only front end

Hi guys,

I know Im border lining database territory here but I was wondering if its possible to link 2 spread sheets together with the possibility to update records on the source spread sheet to which will populate\refresh on the destination spread sheet BUT the user who has the destination spread sheet open only has read only rights and cant amend\change the cells?

Thanks
